Dua Lipa was the daughter of Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa A Rexha Lipa and Dukagjin Dukagjin in London, was born on the 22nd of August, 1995. She has Bosnian roots through her grandmother. Her ancestors can also be identified back to the Kosovo city of Peja. The two grandfathers of Lipa were historians. Gjin along with Rina are her sisters. Her father, a guitarist and lead singer of Kosovan the band Oda was a major influence on her music.
