Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe was born South London, England into an ethnically diverse family. She is English as well as her father was Nigerian. She attended The Brit School when she was 14 years old. She pursued acting studies in The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London. While attending the academy, she performed in a number of stage productions such as King Henry V playing Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights portraying Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe began her acting career with a film titled Storm Damage. She has appeared as guest for Teachers Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's breakout came with 2007's Woody Allen movie Cassandra's Dream. It was co-starring Colin Farrell (who played the role of Cassandra) as well as Ewan McGrath. In the wake of that film's success she was cast as Elisha in the single-episode BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN which aired in 2007 and she also appeared in six episodes of Trexx and Flipside playing Ollie. Also, the ITV2 show Secret Diary of a Call Girl featured her in 2008 as Bambi. Madekwe also starred as the lead character in How to lose friends & make people feel alienated, which was released by Sony Pictures Entertainment in 2008. She was also on the screen in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path written composed by David Watson.
Madekwe's US debut came in 2009, with The thriller The Beautiful Life. The show aired just two episodes before it was ended on The CW. Ashley Davenport was her role in the ABC drama Revenge. Madekwe's exit from the series was confirmed in May 2013. After a period of two years as the main character she made a guest performance in the first episode of season three. From 2014 to the year 2016, she appeared on Salem on the CW as Tituba. Madekwe wed her actor boyfriend Iddo goldberg on June 2012. Alongside Secret Diary of a Call Girl they have also worked with each other on Salem and Iddo Goldberg had part in the show with her. the show on TV.
Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario and was a part of a large family. Ashley Leggat joined Roy and Patty along with her three older siblings - Brett, Todd and Bram and Rob. Ashley's brothers, who are all athletes, play baseball in summers and played hockey in winters. Ashley never actually walked -she was a dancer, and at age 2 1/2 years old she took up Baby Ballet -and she fell in love. That was the start of Ashley's interest in dance. Ashley continued to dance competitively until her high-school graduation in top divisions such as ballet, tap, Jazz, Pointe, Acrobatics, Musical Theatre, Lyrical Hip Hop, and much more. She also won top soloists awards in all important dance competitions such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance among others.
