
Heidi Watney (born May 19, 1981) is an American sportscaster and an Apple reporter TV+.A student at the University of San Diego, her past sportscasting experience included roles at MLB Network, New England Sports Network in Boston, Time Warner Cable SportsNet in Los Angeles, and two stations located in Fresno.Watney attended Clovis West High School in Fresno where she competed in gymnastics, hurdles, diving and cheerleading. [1] She was an National Merit Scholar, and she was a student at the University of San Diego as an academic scholarship. In 2003 she graduated from the university with high grades. Watney was the very first to finish second in Miss California USA 2002. Watney began her job at KMPH-TV (FOX 26), Fresno, in September 2003. She started out as the morning traffic reporter, before moving to the anchor for weekend sports and the weekday sports reporter in 2005. 3]Watney relocated to Massachusetts in 2008 and began working at New England Sports Network (NESN). She worked as an on-game reporter for the Boston Red Sox. Watney hosted the Ultimate Red Sox Show as in addition to Red Sox Report. Watney started her career with Time Warner Cable SportsNet, being a reporter for LA Galaxy. In November 2012, Watney was recruited by MLB Network. She worked there for nine years.
